Jigar Cables (Sigma Wires & Cables brand) reported strong audited results for FY25. Standalone net sales jumped to Rs. 10,314.70 lakhs from Rs. 4,152.89 lakhs in FY24, a growth of about 148%. Standalone net profit rose to Rs. 175.09 lakhs from Rs. 101.48 lakhs, up roughly 72%, with basic EPS at Rs. 2.49 vs Rs. 1.44. Consolidated results were slightly higher, with net sales of Rs. 10,510.81 lakhs and net profit of Rs. 182.18 lakhs (EPS Rs. 2.59), including subsidiary Jigar Polymers Limited. The balance sheet remains healthy with shareholder funds of Rs. 2,064.98 lakhs, short-term borrowings nearly halved to Rs. 184.35 lakhs, and cash position improving to Rs. 159.55 lakhs. Operating cash flow turned strongly positive at Rs. 669.52 lakhs (vs negative Rs. 142.05 lakhs last year). Auditor Rushabh R Shah & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth, improving cash flows, and a clean audit opinion are positive signals for shareholders. The surge in finance costs and capacity expansion (tangible assets up from Rs. 165 to Rs. 369 lakhs) suggest higher leverage but manageable given the low debt-to-equity ratio.
