Jindal Stainless reported audited standalone FY2026 results with revenue from operations of Rs 42,680 crore, up 6.2% from Rs 40,182 crore in FY2025. Net profit after tax stood at Rs 2,843 crore versus Rs 2,711 crore in the prior year, representing a 4.9% increase. Diluted EPS improved to Rs 34.46 from Rs 32.91. Operating margin expanded to 10.13% from 9.72% year-on-year. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 3 per share (total Rs 4 per share including Rs 1 interim dividend already paid), amounting to approximately Rs 330 crore in total dividend payout. Exceptional items included a Rs 91.17 crore gain from share buyback by subsidiary Jindal United Steel and Rs 34.28 crore provision impact from new Labour Codes. Joint statutory auditors gave an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Positive signal for shareholders with revenue and profit growth, margin expansion, and increased dividend payout. Clean audit opinion indicates no accounting concerns. Low debt-equity ratio of 0.24 reflects healthy balance sheet.
