On the reaction day the stock moved 3.8 pts less than Nifty 100 and 2.3 pts less than its Iron & Steel peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
CARE Ratings upgraded Jindal Steel's long-term bank facilities rating from CARE AA to CARE AA plus with Stable outlook. Short-term rating CARE A1 plus was reaffirmed. Upgrade also covers the proposed Non-Convertible Debenture issue and wholly-owned subsidiary Jindal Steel Odisha's long-term facilities.
Rating upgrade signals improved financial strength and may lower future borrowing costs, generally positive for the stock.
