Jindal Steel reported Q3 FY26 consolidated revenue at 13,027 crores and PAT at 189 crores, down steeply from 635 crores in Q2. Steel production hit a record 2.51 MT, up 25 percent QoQ, with sales at 2.28 MT. Adjusted EBITDA fell 15 percent QoQ to 1,593 crores. Standalone PAT was 673 crores vs 921 crores QoQ. Net debt rose to 15,443 crores, with debt to EBITDA at 1.72x versus 1.48x prior. Auditors flagged going concern uncertainty for subsidiaries JSML and Wollongong Resources. Exceptional loss of 54.56 crores booked in consolidated results.
Sharp QoQ profit drop despite record volumes may pressure the stock. Going concern flags on overseas units and rising debt ratios add caution for investors.
