On the reaction day the stock moved in line with Nifty Midcap 150 and in line with its Cement & Cement Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 revenue rose 26% to Rs 3,594.70 crore; net profit rose 8% to Rs 190 crore. Half-year profit fell 5% to Rs 481 crore and operating margin slipped to 13.9% from 15.4%. Operating cash flow was Rs 687 crore. Auditors flagged unresolved Competition Commission cases, including a Rs 154.92 crore demand; their conclusion was unchanged. FY26 had a Rs 46 crore exceptional labour-code charge. It approved a Rs 130 crore water-based paint plant.
Revenue growth helps, but margin compression, lower half-year profit and unresolved Competition Commission cases may weigh on the stock.
