JNK India reported Q1 FY26 consolidated revenue of Rs. 991.68 million, up about 14% from Rs. 870.94 million in Q1 FY25. Standalone revenue was Rs. 989.20 million. However, profitability fell sharply — consolidated profit after tax (PAT) crashed to Rs. 11.27 million from Rs. 63.75 million a year ago, an roughly 82% drop. Standalone PAT stood at Rs. 11.69 million. Basic EPS on a consolidated basis was Rs. 0.20 versus Rs. 1.15 in Q1 FY25. Total expenses rose to Rs. 1,009.89 million (consolidated) from Rs. 834.89 million, with raw material and project costs increasing. The auditor (P G Bhagwat LLP) issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on both sets of results.
Despite decent top-line growth, the steep fall in profits signals significant margin pressure, which is likely to weigh negatively on the stock in the short term. Shareholders should watch for management commentary on cost control and order execution in upcoming calls.
