On the reaction day the stock moved 7.5 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 6.7 pts less than its Film Production, Distribution & Exhibition peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board approved splitting each fully paid equity share of face value Rs 5 into five shares of Rs 1 each. Paid-up shares will rise from 13,79,22,800 to 68,96,14,000, while paid-up capital remains Rs 68,96,14,000. A postal ballot will seek shareholder approval. The record date will be announced later, and completion is expected within two months of board approval, subject to approvals.
The split may improve liquidity and make the share price more affordable, but it does not change total capital or shareholders' economic value.
