JSW Cement reported strong Q4 FY26 results with consolidated revenue of Rs 1,894.99 crore and net profit of Rs 361.65 crore for the quarter. For the full year, revenue grew 12% to Rs 6,512.46 crore. However, the annual net loss stood at Rs 798.78 crore, largely due to a significant exceptional item of Rs 1,504.48 crore which included a Rs 1,466.38 crore gain from CCPS conversion. Excluding exceptional items, operational performance showed marked improvement. The company also announced a 5% dividend (Rs 0.50 per share) and plans to add 2.5 MTPA cement grinding capacity at Nagaur at an investment of Rs 430 crore, to be funded through internal accruals and debt. Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified audit opinion.
The company showed strong operational recovery in Q4 with significant profit swing from losses in FY25. The large exceptional gain from CCPS conversion distorted annual figures, but underlying business growth of 12% in revenue signals healthy operational performance. The capacity expansion at Nagaur and debt reduction from Rs 5,010 crore to Rs 3,092 crore indicate strategic progress.
