JSW Cement Q1 FY27 consolidated revenue from operations rose 21.6% year on year to Rs 1,896.41 cr from Rs 1,559.82 cr. Profit after tax was Rs 153.43 cr versus a loss of Rs 1,366.41 cr in Q1 FY26, which had a one-time Rs 1,466 cr exceptional charge from CCPS conversion. Standalone revenue stood at Rs 1,737.89 cr with PAT of Rs 111.41 cr. Other income got a Rs 55.21 cr boost from dilution of stake in a joint venture. Board also approved raising up to Rs 500 cr via listed NCDs on private placement.
Strong topline growth and return to profit support sentiment; Rs 500 cr NCD raise is modest and should not pressure equity.
