Standalone Q2 FY27 revenue was Rs 961.9 crore, up 21.3%, with volume up 22%. Gross margin declined to 36.8% from 41.7% as raw material inflation and business mix offset price increases. Profit after tax rose 2.0% to Rs 71.2 crore. Management reported strong order wins in infrastructure, power, coil and auto makers, and Rs 7.3 crore of Project Akshaya benefits. JSW Paints aims to expand capacity from 4.5 million tonnes a year to 16 million by FY32.
Strong volumes and orders support revenue, but margin compression may limit near-term earnings. The FY32 capacity target supports long-term growth.
