Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 revenue was Rs 834.9 crore, down 15.0%, and operating profit before the sale gain was Rs 92.3 crore, down 25.7%. Net profit surged 1,618.4% to Rs 1,682.7 crore, mainly on a Rs 1,874.2 crore pre-tax gain from selling two divisions. Excluding them, revenue fell 1.5%. H1 revenue fell 9.3%. The company also sold intellectual property rights for Rs 1,152 crore to a group company; prior figures were restated after the divestment.
The one-off gain lifts reported profit, but weaker sales and margins may weigh on valuation; investors should focus on continuing operations.
