PAT jumped to Rs 33.26 cr versus Rs 9 cr (prior year was hit by a Rs 17.14 cr fire loss exceptional item). Profit before exceptional items and tax grew 28% to Rs 44.84 cr, showing strong core performance. No new exceptional items this quarter. Net fire loss at Bangalore stands at Rs 10.14 cr, with management expecting full insurance recovery. Company also acquired an SPV for a 5-star hotel project in Dwarka, Delhi. SRBC issued a clean limited review report.
Strong 28% growth in core profit signals healthy operations. New Delhi hotel adds future pipeline, but fire-related loss recovery remains a watch item.
