Jyothy Labs Ltd reported audited financial results for FY2025-26 with revenue from operations growing 3.5% to ₹2,94,429 lakhs from ₹2,84,392 lakhs in the prior year. However, net profit declined 10.2% to ₹33,319 lakhs from ₹37,117 lakhs in FY2024-25, with EPS dropping to ₹9.07 from ₹10.11. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹3.50 per equity share (face value ₹1 each), payable after shareholder approval at the 35th AGM scheduled for July 14, 2026. Statutory auditors B S R & Co. LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial results. The company also disclosed an exceptional item of ₹370 lakhs from the prior year loss on sale of its Bangladesh subsidiary, which ceased to be a subsidiary from March 25, 2025.
The decline in net profit despite revenue growth suggests margin compression, which may concern investors. However, the clean audit opinion and dividend recommendation provide some comfort. The stock may face near-term pressure due to PAT decline.
