Kabsons Industries Ltd (BSE: 524675) reported audited results for Q4 and FY25. Full-year revenue from operations grew about 47% YoY to Rs 4,000.76 lakh from Rs 2,721.88 lakh. However, profit after tax fell roughly 21% to Rs 206.25 lakh from Rs 260.57 lakh, and Q4 alone slipped to a small loss of Rs 1.17 lakh versus a profit of Rs 83.96 lakh in Q4 FY24. The FY25 PBT of Rs 206.25 lakh was supported by exceptional items of Rs 82.39 lakh. Operating cash flow improved sharply to Rs 255.12 lakh from Rs 14.47 lakh. The balance sheet shows other equity still in the red at Rs (352.53) lakh (accumulated losses) and the company itself noted it is not recognising deferred tax because it may not earn taxable profits soon. Auditor K.S. RAO & Co issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. The board also appointed a new Independent Director, elevated Ms Riha Kabra to Executive Director, fixed the AGM for August 13, 2025, and reappointed the Secretarial Auditor for five years.
Positive on revenue traction but negative on profitability — revenue is growing fast while margins and bottom line are shrinking, and the persistent accumulated losses leave balance-sheet weakness as a watchpoint. Short-term price reaction may be muted given mixed optics; existing shareholders should watch margin recovery and whether the negative other equity improves in coming quarters.
