Kairosoft AI Solutions Ltd (formerly Pankaj Piyush Trade and Investment Ltd) reported Q2 FY26 revenue of Rs 123 lakhs from its new Artificial Intelligence segment, against nil in Q2 FY25. Total H1 FY26 income stood at Rs 267.44 lakhs (vs Rs 90.20 lakhs in H1 FY25), but the company swung to a half-yearly loss after tax of Rs 103.68 lakhs compared to a profit of Rs 55.69 lakhs a year ago. Q2 alone was profitable at Rs 70.42 lakhs PAT, recovering sharply from the Rs 174.10 lakh loss in Q1 FY26. The auditor (S. Agarwal & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. Cash and equivalents plunged from Rs 1,970.18 lakhs to just Rs 48.81 lakhs, with heavy deployment into intangible assets under development (Rs 1,042.52 lakhs), investments (Rs 957.26 lakhs) and trade receivables.
Short-term: Mixed – the AI business is starting to generate top-line but heavy spending keeps the half-yearly bottom line in red and cash runway is now thin. Shareholders should watch next quarters to see if the Q2 profitability sustains and whether intangible asset investments start yielding revenue. Existing equity base of ~Rs 3,894 lakhs provides a cushion for now, but cash burn is a watchpoint.
