Kajaria Ceramics reported FY2026 standalone revenue of Rs 4,374.31 crore (up 3.7% YoY) and net profit of Rs 456.77 crore, more than doubling from Rs 204.14 crore in FY2025. The Board approved a final dividend of Rs 6 per share, making total dividend Rs 14 per share (vs Rs 9 previously). A share buyback of up to 21.50 lakh shares at Rs 1,380 per share (15.6% premium) worth Rs 296.70 crore was approved, subject to shareholder approval. The company will invest Rs 45 crore in preference shares of subsidiary Kerovit Global (related party transaction) and Rs 50 crore to acquire preference shares in Kajaria Bathware Private. Capacity expansion of 10 MSM at Srikalahasti plant will cost Rs 210 crore, funded by internal accruals.
Strong PAT growth and increased dividend are positives for shareholders. The buyback at a premium signals management confidence. Related party investment in loss-making Kerovit and the expansion funding require monitoring.
