Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Standalone Q2 revenue rose 23.4% to Rs 1,331.90 crore and profit after tax rose to Rs 166.28 crore from Rs 76.31 crore. H1 revenue rose 20.9% to Rs 2,521.98 crore and profit after tax rose 46.1% to Rs 322.05 crore. A Rs 5.09 crore exceptional loss was recorded. The board declared a Rs 12 interim dividend and approved Rs 554 crore for expansion, adding 23.5 million square metres of tiles and a 9,000 tonne per month adhesive plant.
Strong profit growth and the dividend may support the stock, while Rs 554 crore of expansion could lift capacity but increase execution and funding needs.
