GST Authority has appealed against a favorable ruling for Abacus Real Estate, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kalpataru, at the GST Appellate Tribunal. The dispute involves a transitional credit demand of about Rs.1.36 crore plus interest and penalty for the period July 2017 to March 2018. Abacus had earlier won its appeal before the Principal Commissioner. Kalpataru says the matter has no material financial impact and will defend the case.
