On the reaction day the stock moved 0.1 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.6 pts more than its Residential Commercial Projects peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Kalpataru's wholly owned subsidiary Ananta Landmarks received two GST demand orders from the Joint Commissioner of State Tax (Appeals). Order 1 imposes a demand of Rs 14.18 crores for July 2017 to March 2018, and Order 2 imposes Rs 30.67 lakhs for FY 2018-19, both inclusive of interest and penalty. The appellate authority partially rejected the appeals. The company states these orders do not have a material financial impact. The subsidiary plans to file further appeals and believes it has a strong case based on external legal and tax advice.
Company says orders are not material. Subsidiary will appeal further, confident of a favourable outcome.
