Kanani Industries Limited reported its Q3 FY26 and nine-month FY26 results on a standalone and consolidated basis, with a limited review (unmodified opinion) by statutory auditor JMMK & Co. On a standalone basis, the company recorded revenue from operations of Rs. 1,020.46 lakhs for the nine months (nil in the year-ago period) and a net profit of Rs. 82.58 lakhs versus Rs. 14.38 lakhs in 9M FY25. On a consolidated basis (which includes foreign subsidiary KIL International Ltd.), revenue from operations rose to Rs. 16,088.24 lakhs for 9M FY26 from Rs. 13,475.87 lakhs in 9M FY25, while consolidated net profit nearly doubled to Rs. 202.85 lakhs from Rs. 102.14 lakhs. Q3 FY26 consolidated profit of Rs. 38.87 lakhs was lower than Rs. 70.95 lakhs in Q3 FY25 due to higher raw material costs. EPS (consolidated) for 9M FY26 stood at Rs. 0.10 versus Rs. 0.05.
Strong nine-month profit growth on a consolidated basis is a positive signal for shareholders, showing roughly doubled PAT year-on-year. However, the sequential (Q3 vs Q3) dip in consolidated profit and the fact that the standalone business shows negligible operational revenue suggests earnings remain driven primarily by the foreign subsidiary, which investors should weigh when assessing sustainability.
