Kaveri Seed Company reported FY26 standalone revenue of ₹1,303.77 crore, up 16.25% from ₹1,121.57 crore in FY25. Net profit grew 6.81% to ₹283.26 crore despite EBITDA margin declining from 24.47% to 26.83%. Q4FY26 saw revenue of ₹82.21 crore (up 6.84%) but continued operating loss of ₹8.63 crore. Cotton segment profitability was impacted by increased production costs, while non-cotton segments including hybrid rice (76% growth), vegetable seeds (90% growth) and maize performed well. The company achieved strong full-year revenue growth but faces margin pressure in cotton due to cost pressures. Shift to non-cotton segments is supporting overall profitability, with new product pipeline showing healthy contribution to volumes.
