KCP Limited reported a strong turnaround in Q1 FY26 on a standalone basis, swinging to a profit after tax of ₹14.28 Cr from a loss of ₹4.68 Cr a year ago, on revenue from operations of ₹388.03 Cr (up ~6.8% YoY from ₹363.36 Cr). Standalone EPS came in at ₹1.11 versus negative ₹0.36 in Q1 FY25. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations dipped slightly to ₹676.51 Cr from ₹691.03 Cr, but profit attributable to owners nearly doubled to ₹63.49 Cr from ₹32.14 Cr, lifting consolidated EPS to ₹4.92 from ₹2.49. The cement segment, which had posted an EBIT loss of ₹5.02 Cr last year, swung to an EBIT profit of ₹23.51 Cr, while the Vietnam sugar subsidiary contributed revenues of ₹288.48 Cr. K.S. Rao & Co. issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications.
Positive for shareholders — strong YoY profit recovery driven by the cement segment turnaround and steady sugar subsidiary contribution. Standalone revenue growth was modest but profitability improved sharply, supporting a constructive near-term outlook.
