KEC International reported record full-year FY26 revenue of Rs 23,506 crore, up 8% from Rs 21,847 crore in FY25, driven by strong execution in its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business which contributed 68% of revenues versus 59% last year. Operating profit after tax grew 18% to Rs 650 crore on a consolidated basis, while EBITDA margin expanded from 6.9% to 7.1% year-on-year. The company secured its highest-ever order intake of Rs 25,280 crore, building an order book of Rs 36,267 crore with a combined order book and L1 (pending award) position exceeding Rs 40,000 crore. Q4 FY26 saw a sequential slowdown with revenue of Rs 6,390 crore vs Rs 6,872 crore in Q4 FY25. Net debt including acceptances stood at Rs 6,722 crore as of March 31, 2026. Exceptional items included a Rs 59 crore labour code provision and a Rs 24 crore arbitration income. The board recommended a dividend of Rs 5.5 per share (275%).
Strong full-year performance with record revenues and order intake signals robust business momentum. The expanded order book beyond Rs 40,000 crore provides multi-year revenue visibility. However, Q4 revenue decline and a slight EBITDA margin compression quarter-on-quarter may cause near-term stock volatility.
