Kesar Petroproducts reported audited FY25 results with revenue from operations growing to ₹18,517 lakhs from ₹14,889 lakhs in FY24, a rise of about 24%. Net profit after tax doubled to ₹996 lakhs from ₹497 lakhs, with EPS improving to ₹1.03 from ₹0.51. Q4 FY25 revenue stood at ₹4,099 lakhs (lower than Q4 FY24's ₹4,960 lakhs), but profit before tax for the year rose sharply to ₹1,331 lakhs from ₹493 lakhs. Operating cash flow turned positive at ₹1,315 lakhs versus a negative ₹2,021 lakhs last year, and cash balances nearly tripled to ₹1,385 lakhs. The company also issued 2.02 crore share warrants at ₹18.80 each, receiving ₹949 lakhs as 25% advance, earmarked for working capital.
Strong annual performance with revenue and profit growth, improved margins, and a swing to positive operating cash flow are positive for shareholders. The warrant issue could lead to equity dilution if converted but provides working capital support in the near term.
