Kesar Terminals & Infrastructure Ltd has announced the complete extinguishment of its liability as a corporate guarantor for bank dues of its erstwhile wholly-owned subsidiary, Kesar Multimodal Logistics Limited (KMLL). The company has received confirmation from the concerned bank that the non-fund-based facility liability has also been fully extinguished. This follows an earlier disclosure on 10.09.2025, when KMLL ceased to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. With this development, the company says it can now focus on its core business activities and explore expansion opportunities across the country.
Positive for shareholders — the removal of a contingent corporate guarantee eliminates an off-balance-sheet risk and strengthens the company's financial position, giving it more freedom to pursue growth initiatives.
