On the reaction day the stock moved 3.5 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.1 pts less than its Garments & Apparels peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Kewal Kiran Clothing's board, at its August 7, 2025 meeting, approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26. Standalone revenue from operations rose about 19.8% YoY to Rs. 181.28 crore (vs Rs. 151.25 crore), while standalone profit after tax grew around 20.7% to Rs. 30.54 crore (vs Rs. 25.31 crore), with EPS at Rs. 4.96 (vs Rs. 4.11). Consolidated revenue was Rs. 233.75 crore and consolidated PAT was Rs. 31.99 crore, though the prior-year figures are not directly comparable because Kraus Casuals became a subsidiary only in July 2024. Other income for the quarter included Rs. 4.60 crore from sale of investments and Rs. 7.77 crore of unrealised mark-to-market gains. The statutory auditors (Jain & Trivedi and N.A. Shah Associates LLP) issued an unmodified opinion on both sets of results.
A healthy quarter with double-digit revenue and profit growth on a standalone basis, but a meaningful chunk of profit came from investment-related gains rather than core operations. Shareholders should also factor in the company's own caveat that apparel revenue is seasonal, so Q1 is not representative of full-year performance.
