Kimia Biosciences' board approved unaudited standalone results for Q2 and H1 FY26, reviewed by statutory auditor Neeraj Arora & Associates with a clean review report. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 3,399.93 lakhs in Q2 FY26 vs Rs 2,817.86 lakhs in Q2 FY25, a YoY growth of roughly 21%. However, profit after tax fell sharply to Rs 101.51 lakhs in Q2 (vs Rs 161.34 lakhs YoY) and Rs 161.91 lakhs for H1 (vs Rs 305.04 lakhs). Total debt remained elevated at Rs 3,571 lakhs against equity of about Rs 1,159 lakhs, keeping the debt-equity ratio near 3x. Operating cash flow also weakened to Rs 124 lakhs (H1) from Rs 882 lakhs a year ago.
Positive revenue momentum is being offset by sharp margin compression and weakening profitability, while a high leverage ratio limits room for further borrowing. Short-term shareholders may view the result as mixed – top-line growth is encouraging, but the steep fall in PAT and tight balance sheet are near-term concerns.
