Kimia Biosciences reported a strong turnaround for FY25. Revenue from operations rose about 13% to ₹11,892 lakhs from ₹10,488 lakhs in FY24. The company swung from a loss before tax of ₹718 lakhs to a profit before tax of ₹1,363 lakhs, translating into a profit after tax of ₹961 lakhs versus a loss of ₹531 lakhs last year. EPS turned positive at ₹2.03 versus negative ₹1.12. Total equity improved sharply to ₹997 lakhs from just ₹33 lakhs, as the company cut long-term borrowings from ₹2,141 lakhs to ₹1,037 lakhs. Operating cash flow was healthy at ₹2,131 lakhs. Statutory auditor Neeraj Arora & Associates issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
Positive for shareholders — the company returned to profitability, significantly deleveraged, and strengthened its balance sheet, though trade payables and receivables both grew sharply, indicating working-capital strain that investors should watch.
