Kirloskar Ferrous reported Q1 FY27 (quarter ended June 30, 2026) standalone revenue of Rs 1,771.51 Cr, up 4.3% from Rs 1,698.07 Cr a year ago. Profit before exceptional items and tax rose to Rs 134.42 Cr from Rs 127.22 Cr. An exceptional charge of Rs 29.33 Cr towards stamp duty for the ISMT merger dragged reported PAT to Rs 82.32 Cr vs Rs 235.47 Cr, which was inflated by a large deferred tax credit last year. Operating margin slipped to 10.52% from 12.77%. Auditors gave an unqualified limited review. Comparative figures were restated for prior mergers.
Margins under pressure from higher other expenses; one-time merger stamp duty weighed on quarterly profit. Underlying business steady with mild revenue growth.
