Kirloskar Oil Engines posted FY25 standalone revenue of Rs. 5,113 crore, up 5.4% year-on-year, with net profit rising 19.4% to Rs. 432 crore. Consolidated revenue grew 7.6% to Rs. 6,349 crore and net profit rose 8.2% to Rs. 476 crore. Q4 standalone net profit of Rs. 121 crore included a one-time Rs. 20.9 crore gain from selling an aircraft. The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 4 per share (200% on the Rs. 2 face value), subject to shareholder approval. Consolidated operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. 739 crore, mainly because the NBFC arm Arka Fincap expanded its loan book significantly.
Steady earnings growth with a generous dividend is a positive update for shareholders. The negative consolidated operating cash flow reflects the financial services business lending more, not weakness in the core engine business.
