On the reaction day the stock moved 12.5 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 11.2 pts less than its Compressors Pumps & Diesel Engines peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY27 consolidated sales rose 17% to Rs 2,257.1 crore, but continuing-business PAT fell 18% to Rs 130.3 crore and margin eased to 5.7% from 8.2%. Standalone sales increased 19% to Rs 1,722.5 crore, while EBITDA fell 6% and PAT fell 14%. B2B and B2C sales grew 20% and 28%, but financial services revenue declined 11%. Higher material and employee costs hurt profitability.
Strong sales growth is positive, but falling profit and margins may weigh on the stock until cost pressure eases and growth turns into profit.
