On the reaction day the stock moved 4.1 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.2 pts less than its Garments & Apparels peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Kitex Garments board has approved raising up to Rs 3,000 Crores through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) or other permissible modes. The fundraise may include equity shares, non-convertible debentures with warrants, or other convertible securities, in one or more tranches. Pricing and other terms will be decided by the Board later. The move is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
Large fundraise may dilute existing shareholders; stock could see pressure until pricing details are announced.
