On the reaction day the stock moved in line with Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.8 pts more than its Specialty Chemicals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Kkalpana Industries reported its Q3 FY26 (quarter ended 31 December 2025) and nine-month unaudited results, approved at a board meeting on 9 February 2026. Standalone revenue from operations for Q3 stood at Rs 7,065.08 lakhs, up about 25% from Rs 5,630.33 lakhs in Q3 FY25, while nine-month revenue declined roughly 10% to Rs 27,650.07 lakhs from Rs 30,670.13 lakhs a year ago. Profit after tax for the nine months jumped sharply to Rs 76.27 lakhs from Rs 34.75 lakhs in the prior period, while Q3 PAT was nearly flat at Rs 1.48 lakhs. The auditor (B Chakrabarti & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications. The board also approved seeking shareholder approval via postal ballot for a related party transaction for FY 2026-27, and proposed changing the company name to 'Kkalpana Industries India Limited'.
Strong Q3 revenue growth and a sharp nine-month PAT improvement are positives, but the decline in nine-month revenue and very thin Q3 margins suggest weak underlying profitability. The proposed name change is cosmetic, while the postal ballot for a related party transaction is something shareholders should watch closely when details are disclosed.
