Kopran Limited reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 68,142.36 lakhs for FY26, up 8.2% from Rs. 62,960.44 lakhs in FY25. However, profit before tax declined significantly to Rs. 3,435.62 lakhs from Rs. 5,194.86 lakhs (33% decline), and profit after tax fell to Rs. 2,573.12 lakhs from Rs. 3,855.19 lakhs (33% decline). EPS for the year stood at Rs. 5.33 versus Rs. 7.99 in the previous year. The auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no qualifications. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 3 per equity share (30%). A scheme of amalgamation between Kopran Laboratories Limited and Kopran Limited is in progress, with NCLT having admitted the application and shareholder meeting scheduled for June 3, 2026.
Despite revenue growth, the company experienced a significant decline in profitability which may concern investors. The clean audit opinion and dividend recommendation provide some stability, but the 33% PAT decline could negatively impact the stock price in the near term.
