Kothari Industrial Corporation Ltd submitted its audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2026, along with a statement on the impact of audit qualifications, confirming that the exchange's observation has been noted and rectified. Standalone revenue from operations more than doubled to Rs 17,830.36 lakhs (vs Rs 8,663.59 lakhs in FY25), driven mainly by the Footwear segment (Rs 10,241 lakhs) and Fertiliser (Rs 3,197 lakhs). Despite top-line growth, the company reported a widened standalone net loss of Rs 3,119.07 lakhs (vs Rs 1,616.82 lakhs) and a consolidated net loss of Rs 7,218.53 lakhs, hurt by losses in Footwear, Hotel, Logistics, and a Rs 4,099.46 lakh share of losses from associate Phoenix Kothari Footwear. The company took unsecured loans of Rs 34 crore and Rs 2 crore at 24% p.a. during the quarter, and management stated results are prepared on a going concern basis with plans for additional financing.
Heavy losses continue and have deepened on a consolidated basis, though revenue is growing strongly. Shareholders should weigh the strong topline expansion against persistent segment-level losses, high-cost borrowings, and reliance on fresh debt and equity infusion to sustain operations.
