KPT Industries posted Q2 FY26 revenue of Rs. 43.89 crores, up about 9% from Rs. 40.17 crores in Q2 last year, helped by strong growth in the Blower and E-Vehicle segments. However, half-year revenue declined roughly 4% to Rs. 82.66 crores from Rs. 86.96 crores in H1 FY25. Profit after tax for the half year fell to Rs. 6.68 crores (from Rs. 8.05 crores), a decline of about 17% year-on-year, with Q2 PAT at Rs. 3.60 crores versus Rs. 3.96 crores. Profit before tax margins compressed to about 11.1% in H1 (from 12.5%). Half-year EPS stood at Rs. 19.63. Statutory auditor P G Bhagwat LLP issued a clean limited-review report with no qualifications.
Sequential improvement is encouraging, but the year-on-year drop in both top line and bottom line for the first half, combined with shrinking margins, signals near-term pressure on earnings and could weigh on the stock in the short term.
