On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.6 pts more than its Hospital peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
KIMS posted Q2 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 4,300 million, up 18% YoY. Standalone Q2 PAT was about Rs 636 million (EPS Rs 1.59). Consolidated half year PAT attributable to owners fell to Rs 1,455 million from Rs 1,832 million. The board also approved merging wholly-owned units KIMS Hospitals and Chalasani Hospitals into KIMS. Statutory auditors gave an unmodified opinion.
Topline grew but bottomline declined. Subsidiary merger simplifies group structure and may bring operational efficiencies.
