Krsnaa Diagnostics has allotted 43,000 secured, unlisted, unrated, redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of face value INR 1 lakh each, aggregating to INR 430 crore, to Asian Development Bank (ADB) on a private placement basis. The NCDs carry a coupon of 7.79% per annum and have a 7-year tenure maturing on February 23, 2033. Principal and interest will be paid half-yearly, with redemption in 13 equal installments starting 6 months from allotment. The debentures are secured by a charge over identified company assets. This is a continuation of the company's earlier communication dated December 12, 2025 regarding the NCD issuance.
Brings in INR 430 crore of long-term funding from a reputed multilateral institution, strengthening the balance sheet for business expansion, but adds debt of ~INR 33.5 crore in annual interest cost and increases leverage on the books. Existing shareholders may view this positively given the low cost of borrowing and quality of the investor (ADB), though there is no equity dilution.
