Krypton Industries reported standalone revenue of Rs 4,683.55 lakhs for FY25, up 13.2% from Rs 4,137.37 lakhs in FY24. Standalone profit before tax grew 25.8% to Rs 265.59 lakhs, but net profit declined 14.1% to Rs 131.16 lakhs due to higher finance costs (Rs 239.03 lakhs vs Rs 161.71 lakhs) and increased tax outflow. On a consolidated basis, net profit fell sharply by about 65% to Rs 39.29 lakhs from Rs 113.65 lakhs. The board recommended a final dividend of Re 1 per share (face value Rs 10). The company received an unqualified audit opinion from P.K. Luharuka & Co., whose term was extended by two years (total five-year tenure). Operating cash flow was healthy at Rs 524.98 lakhs, and the company signed a new supply agreement with West Bengal's CONFED cooperative federation.
Despite top-line growth and improved operating margins, the sharp rise in finance costs and taxes led to a notable drop in net profit, especially on a consolidated basis. Shareholders get a modest 10% dividend (Re 1 on Rs 10 face value). Short-term sentiment may be cautious given the profit decline, but revenue growth, a clean audit, and strong cash generation remain positives.
