Kuantum Papers posted Q1FY27 revenue of Rs303.75 cr, up 36% YoY from Rs222.92 cr. However, net profit fell 48% to Rs6.23 cr from Rs12.06 cr, with PBT down to Rs10.77 cr from Rs16.24 cr. EPS stood at Rs0.71 vs Rs1.38. Finance costs rose to Rs14.53 cr from Rs10.39 cr. Power, fuel, and chemical costs also rose sharply. Board also approved raising up to Rs100 cr via unlisted, secured NCDs on private placement. Auditors gave an unmodified limited review opinion.
Strong revenue growth offset by margin pressure from higher input and finance costs. Rs100cr debt raise may add to interest burden.
