On the reaction day the stock moved 3.9 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 3.3 pts less than its Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC) peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Kuber Udyog posted Q1 FY27 PAT of Rs 21.88 lakh, up 146% from Rs 8.90 lakh a year ago, driven largely by Rs 21.98 lakh in fair value gains on securities. Revenue from operations fell 52% to Rs 12.01 lakh from Rs 25.25 lakh. Board also appointed Mrs. Purvi Samir Patel as Independent Director and approved filing with RBI to surrender its NBFC license. A SEBI penalty of Rs 18.49 lakh from Feb 2024 remains pending before SAT.
Profit jump is from non-operating fair value gains, not core business. NBFC exit and weak operating revenue are key concerns for shareholders.
