Lakhotia Polyesters reported FY25 revenue from operations of ₹60.47 crores, up roughly 118% from ₹27.75 crores in FY24. Profit after tax jumped to ₹6.02 crores from just ₹0.07 crores a year ago, translating to EPS of ₹6.18 versus ₹0.12. For Q4 FY25 alone, revenue surged to ₹24.63 crores (from ₹9.56 crores in Q4 FY24) and PAT swung to ₹3.97 crores from a loss of ₹0.22 crores. Total assets nearly doubled to ₹34.44 crores and other equity turned positive at ₹4.83 crores (from a negative ₹1.63 crores), though short-term borrowings climbed sharply to ₹14.93 crores from ₹5.90 crores. Operating cash flow was negative at ₹(8.26) crores versus a positive ₹0.36 crores last year. Statutory auditor Sharp Aarth & Co LLP issued an unqualified opinion on the results.
The dramatic top-line and bottom-line growth is a strong positive for shareholders, but the negative operating cash flow and rising short-term debt signal working-capital pressure that investors should monitor closely.
