Landmark Property Development Company Limited has filed its unaudited Q1 FY26 results. Total income fell sharply to Rs. 52.89 lakhs from Rs. 176.58 lakhs in the same quarter last year, with revenue from operations dropping to Rs. 40.94 lakhs from Rs. 117.30 lakhs (a roughly 65% year-on-year decline). The company slipped to a small net loss of Rs. 0.68 lakhs versus a profit of Rs. 5.72 lakhs in Q1 FY25, and booked a Rs. 400 lakh provision for expected credit loss during the quarter. The statutory auditor (V. Sankar Aiyar & Co.) issued an unmodified opinion but flagged an Emphasis of Matter on the recoverability of space booking advances of Rs. 3,526.15 lakhs (gross) from Ansal Landmark (Karnal) Township Pvt. Ltd., of which Rs. 1,600 lakhs has already been provided for.
The steep revenue contraction and the unresolved Ansal Landmark (Karnal) recovery exposure remain key overhangs, even though absolute quarterly losses are small. Shareholders should track both project-level cash flows at the parent and the status of the Karnal township advance recovery, as further provisions could pressure earnings.
