Laxmi Organic Industries reported standalone revenue of Rs 28,085 million for FY2026, down 4.6% from Rs 29,446 million in FY2025. Profit after tax declined significantly to Rs 793 million from Rs 1,180 million in the prior year, a drop of about 33%. The company changed its depreciation method from written down value to straight line, which increased reported profits by Rs 203 million for the year. A one-time benefit of Rs 407 million was recorded from reversal of electricity provision following a favorable MERC order. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.30 per share. Deloitte gave an unmodified (clean) audit opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The company experienced a significant decline in both revenue and profitability, with PAT falling over 30% year-on-year. The EBITDA margin compression of nearly 4 percentage points suggests cost pressures. While operating cash flow remained positive at Rs 1,726 million, the weak bottom-line performance and high debt levels warrant caution for investors.
