On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and in line with its Specialty Chemicals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
MERC's final order dated September 17, 2025 barred MSEDCL from charging Unit 2 wheeling, transmission and related losses when Unit 1 supplies open access power. MSEDCL must withdraw its May 29, 2025 disconnection notice and June 4 corrigendum, set aside these charges on bills from June 2019 to May 2025, and process applications without demanding arrears. A separate petition, 61237 of 2024, remains pending with no hearing date fixed.
Positive: reduces disputed power charges and disconnection risk and supports open access supply. The related petition remains unresolved.
