Laxmi Organic Industries reported FY2026 standalone revenue of ₹28,085.32 million, down from ₹29,446.06 million in FY2025 (approximately 4.6% decline). Standalone profit after tax fell to ₹792.58 million from ₹1,180.21 million in the prior year (about 33% decline). The company changed its depreciation method from written down value to straight line basis, which the notes state would have resulted in ₹203.42 million lower profit before tax had the old method been continued. Non-current borrowings increased significantly from ₹425 million to ₹4,931.58 million. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹0.30 per share (15% on face value of ₹2). Mr. Amit Jain has been appointed as CFO effective June 16, 2026. Auditors gave an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The stock may see negative reaction due to both revenue and profit decline year-on-year. The significant increase in debt levels raises concerns about leverage. However, the clean audit opinion and dividend declaration provide some stability for investors.
