Le Travenues Technology (Ixigo) received an Order-in-Appeal from CGST Appeals, Gurugram rejecting its six appeals against a GST demand of about Rs 89.8 lakh plus equal penalty and interest for FY 2017-18 to 2022-23. The dispute concerns whether services rendered to overseas entities like Booking.com qualify as intermediary services or export of services. The company says it has a strong case on merits and will file a further appeal before the GST Appellate Tribunal. No change in previously disclosed quantum.
First-level GST appeal rejected but matter continues at higher tribunal. No material financial impact expected besides legal costs.
