On the reaction day the stock moved 1.9 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.3 pts less than its Tour Travel Related Services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
SAIF Partners India IV Limited, a Mauritius-based foreign investor and not part of the promoter group, has disclosed a sale of 1,42,75,095 shares (3.27% of paid-up capital) in Ixigo on 10 October 2025. The sale was executed partly through the open market (64,69,256 shares, 1.48%) and partly through off-market deals (78,05,839 shares, 1.79%). Following this transaction, SAIF Partners' holding in Ixigo has dropped from 5.76% (2,51,66,256 shares) to 2.49% (1,08,91,161 shares). The disclosure was filed under Regulation 29(2) of the SEBI Takeover Regulations.
A significant FII reducing its stake by more than half (from 5.76% to 2.49%) signals reduced confidence from this foreign investor; however, the off-market portion suggests large block transfers to specific buyers rather than panic selling, and SAIF is not a promoter so there is no impact on promoter control of the company.
