The board of Lehar Footwears approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. Revenue from operations for the full year rose to Rs. 27,721.28 lakhs, up from Rs. 19,426.04 lakhs in FY24, a growth of roughly 43%. Net profit jumped to Rs. 1,086.90 lakhs from Rs. 655.81 lakhs, about 66% higher year-on-year, pushing EPS to Rs. 6.15 from Rs. 4.02. Q4 alone saw revenue more than double to Rs. 10,944.65 lakhs and net profit quadruple to Rs. 504.15 lakhs. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.50 per share (5% on face value of Rs. 10), subject to shareholder approval, and appointed Gaurav G & Associates as secretarial auditor for five years while re-appointing S S Choudhary and Co as internal auditor for FY26. Statutory auditor A. Bafna & Co issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results. Note 8 flags a retrospective re-statement of prior period figures due to a change in accounting policy for government grants, which the company states has no impact on net profit.
Strong top-line and bottom-line growth along with a clean audit opinion are positive for shareholders, though the modest 5% dividend payout may underwhelm income-focused investors. The accounting policy restatement does not affect profitability, so it is a presentation change rather than a red flag.
