Liberty Shoes reported Q3 FY26 revenue of Rs. 180.92 crore, up ~13% YoY from Rs. 160.10 crore, while 9M FY26 revenue grew ~8% to Rs. 527.95 crore from Rs. 487.82 crore. However, Q3 net profit fell sharply to Rs. 0.59 crore from Rs. 2.37 crore YoY (down ~75%), and 9M PAT declined ~26% to Rs. 5.89 crore from Rs. 7.95 crore. Q3 EPS dropped to Rs. 0.35 from Rs. 1.39 a year ago. Profitability was hit by a Rs. 1.41 crore one-time charge from new Labour Codes, higher finance costs (up ~30% YoY in Q3), and rising depreciation. The statutory auditor (Pardeep Tayal & Co) issued an unqualified limited review report, and CARE Ratings re-affirmed credit ratings at A2 (short term) and BBB+/Stable (long term).
Strong topline growth is being offset by sharply compressed margins and weak bottom-line performance, which is likely to be viewed negatively by investors despite stable credit ratings. Cost pressures (Labour Code impact, interest, depreciation) remain a key watchpoint for upcoming quarters.
